Weather Reach technology saved over a million gallons of water, Port staff time, and money last year.
Now that same technology has earned the Port an award as one of the BEST environmental efforts in the city. Portland City Commissioner Erik Sten presented the Port of Portland a BEST (Businesses for an Environmentally Sustainable Tomorrow) award for its property maintenance pilot irrigation water conservation program at the Swan Island and Rivergate industrial parks.

Shawnee Residents Asked to Begin Water Rationing

Water managers in northernmost Utah are happy to have the prospects of full reservoirs and are preparing for the possibility of getting a bit too much water.

New Mexico City Bans Outdoor Watering
Las Vegas, New Mexico - The City Council has banned outdoor water and enacted other, tougher rules in light of a continuing drought. The north-central community has only two-thirds of its normal water storage, and officials said a few inches of snow weren't nearly enough to solve the problem.
