Weather Reach Preserves Pioneer History

Located in the Virgin Basin of southern Utah is a town known for its rich pioneer history. With blistering heat in the summer and mild temperatures in the winter, Washington City looked to Weather Reach to help protect and beautify its established parks and green strips.

Originally settled to grow cotton, Washington City was the first established community in the Virgin Basin and is now one of the fastest growing communities in southern Utah. Tremendous growth along with a prolonged drought prompted officials to turn to Weather Reach for help.
